On the wing we discuss Texas forward Dillon Mitchell, Kansas State's Arthur Kaluma, and Florida State's Jamir Watkins, with an honorable mention to Arkansas wing Trevon Brazile. Rick Pitino and Saint John's added a pair of dynamic, versatile guards from the transfer portal in Seton Hall's Kadary Richmond and Utah's Deivon Smith. Will the duo help the Red Storm get back into the NCAA Tournament, or does the team need more shooting in order to compete in the Big East? Virginia struck on a trio of transfers this past week: San Diego State forward Elijah Saunders, Florida State point guard Jalen Warley, and Duke's TJ Power. Power could be a breakout candidate as a floor spacing big man, while Saunders and Warley each feel tailor-made for Tony Bennett's system: is it all e ..read more

Kentucky landed the services of both Koby Brea AND Kerr Kriisa on Wednesday. The question is: Is this UK’s starting backcourt? How does Lamont Butler factor into that backcourt? What about Otega Oweh? Elsewhere, Creighton got the news that Ryan Kalkbrenner is coming back (and it sounds like Steven Ashworth as well). This is welcome news for the Blue Jays who are losing Baylor Scheierman and Trey Alexander. Javon Small (Oklahoma State) has decided to transfer to West Virginia, which is a blow for Kentucky fans. Tough news late on Wednesday for Samford as they lost big man Achor Achor. Join the ..read more

Meanwhile Mark Pope and Kentucky picked up a trio of transfers in Lamont Butler (San Diego State), Otega Oweh (Oklahoma), and Andrew Carr (Wake Forest). The Wildcats are in the mix for multiple other transfers, such as Great Osobor, Koby Brea, and Aidan Mahaney.    Join the Locked On College Basketball Discord: https://discord.gg/bsKxDp8Qqb  Follow & Subsc ..read more

The Miami Hurricanes had a disappointing 2023-24 college basketball season, and now coach Jim Larranaga will have to rebuild without Norchad Omier or Wooga Poplar after the two stars entered the NCAA transfer portal on Thursday. Kyshawn George won't be of help either as he is keeping his name in the 2024 NBA draft, putting the 'Canes in a tough spot as they look to compete in the ACC. Sticking with the ACC, Louisville and new coach Pat Kelsey have added eight big time players in the transfer portal, the latest being former Wisconsin point guard Chucky Hepburn.
