This year, the “back-to-school” transition feels a little different. Along with pencils and notebooks, some of us are adding masks to backpacks. Maybe we’re prepping to homeschool or do virtual school, with mom as teacher. Others are dividing into pods with friends. Some are heading back to the classroom, and others are doing hybrid. But even though we might be six feet apart, we are coming together to go “back to school” and part of that is building our kids’ (and our own) excitement.

None of the past few months makes much sense, and if you’re like us, you’re getting pretty darn tired. And not the kind of tired a solid 8 hours can fix (even though yes, that would be lovely anyway). It just isn’t normal to….
