Currently have a 10.5" AR pistol with law folder and flash can on it in the the front passenger side floor board of my Ford Focus. Considering moving it to the trunk and adding a 45 hi cap pistol for the front seat. IF I'm moving it to the trunk, I'm considering going with a 16" 556 or a 9" 300 blackout. Any real reason to stick with the 10.5" 556 if I'm moving it to the trunk? Would the 16" 556 or 9" 300 be better for a "SHTF", Get Home, Zombie, Riot, or other emergency use? I doubt... Help with value?

I’m working out a trade on a handgun I have listed at $650. I was offered a Franchi 48AL Ducks Unlimited edition 20ga shotgun for it. The guy said it was passed down for several generations in his family and barely ever fired. I’m just curious about the gun. I wouldn’t mind having a good skeet gun, and also curious about the value of it because I can’t find much. Thanks ..read more

Small show at the Armory in Winston this weekend. I’m still looking for a 16” Stainless 357 Rossi 92. If you’re going to set up there or just have one of these Rossis and can meet me there, I’ll meet you there and buy it. I have a CCW. I’m just looking for a basic, wood-stocked Rossi, not laminated or threaded barrel. Thanks ..read more

Stuck recessed front sight pin on vintage AK - bless this mess.

Picked up an AK today and noticed the muzzle device was seized and the spring pin was mushroomed a little and stuck. I *should* have rotated the pin and oiled it more as I tapped it down into the front sight post but I assumed it was just dragging on the muzzle device edge and when it was removed the pin would be free…. Wrong. So here I sit, with oil and heat applied, getting nowhere. Whole reason I bought the AK was to suppress it and I need the pin free to do that. Replacing it is very... Read more ..read more

Reloading press lights, KMS Squared

Some years ago,, I had the desire to add lights to my Dillon presses. I studied several, and most used the center hole of the toolhead to add a light. Then I found a different approach. A company called "KMS Squared." Flat, thin contoured light strips, that adhere to the underside of the press body, above the rising shellplate were what impressed me. So, I ordered a single "kit" which had all the stuff,, for one press. Once I got it,, I realized it was perfect, and ordered more for my other... Read more ..read more

Anybody here involved in that? My wife was a patient at the CLNC Naval Hospital from March 1961 until January 1964. I've been trying to get my wife's medical records from the NPR for a year and a half. This afternoon I filled out their Fn records request for the fourth time at Tillis' office request. He's been trying to get the records for two months. I know the records are not destroyed because at one point they sent me the copies of my eldest son's birth records. Anybody else having...
