I have the opportunity to acquire a Stevens 311 or 311 A . Left side of receiver has large print Italic font "STEVENS MODEL 311" while right side has small print "Model 311A". It is .410 bore. Many stamps on inside of receiver and fore end. Mounting plate for trigger guard and plate inside of receiver appears to be case color hardened although the receiver itself appears to be faded blue. Ok scope arrived and didn't look to bad in day light. Looks to be a little canted but could be the way I shoulder a rifle. Tried it out last night just to see what it looked like.
