A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to call for the club to sign Norwich star Todd Cantwell this summer. Some Arsenal fans have urged the club to swoop for the English midfielder after his impressive display on Wednesday night. They watched as Cantwell caught the eye against their fierce rivals Tottenham in the FA Cup. Norwich beat Tottenham on penalties after a 1-1 draw to progress through to the quarter-finals, with Cantwell one of the scorers in the shoot-out. He was also excellent throughout the match, winning constant fouls to alleviate pressure on Norwich’s defence. The Englan ..read more

The Canaries bowed out of the Primer League in miserable fashion as they lost 5-0 to former champions Manchester City. Canaries fans didn’t hesitate to mention their famous 3-2 win from the opening games of the season but the spotlight was firmly back on Man City as they bid a fond farewell to club legend David Silva. The visitors got off to the best possible start when memories of last season came flooding back to fans. After just three quick passes, Norwich had gone from the sixteen-yard box to the Citizens’ goal much like the Norwich of last season. But last season, The Canaries didn’t have ..read more

After being relegated with games to spare, you might have thought that things couldn’t have become anymore embarrassing for the Canaries, but they made sure they went out with one last laughable performance in their final home game of the season. Norwich started the better team but it soon fell apart in a way not even the Canaries could expect. Buendia could have no complaints about his dismissal after he elbowed Westwood on the back of his head. After VAR told the referee to check the pitchside monitor, he finally pulled out his red card. But Norwich weren’t done there. After a poor touch, Dr ..read more

Norwich couldn’t delay the inevitable any further as they have now been mathematically relegated from the Premier League after an embarrassing 4-0 loss to West Ham. The opening exchanges of the game were pretty even but West Ham got the breakthrough after just ten minutes through Antonio who began his record-breaking scoring spree. The ball was flicked on to the back post from a corner and he improvised to finish nicely. Antonio’s second also came from a set-piece, this time a simple cross from Noble found it’s way to the former Forest man who directed it goalward. After this, Norwich started ..read more

Norwich are now all but relegated thanks to a disappointing loss to fellow relegation-threatened side Brighton. It was a fairly boring game with only a few chances created, spread equally between both teams. Norwich started the game the better of the two sides but didn’t really create any clear cut chances. A few blocked shots from Hernadez were as close to a goal as any team got in the first twenty minutes. Dominating in the opening exchanges and then conceding has become a running theme this season and that didn’t change on Saturday. Klose made a missed placed pass straight to Bissuma, who s ..read more

The Canaries performances have been improving since the Southampton loss but they still couldn’t get their first win since after the restart. Manchester United took the game to Norwich in the opening moments of the half but looked lifeless and didn’t put the home side under much substantial pressure. As time went on, Norwich, who had made fewer changes than their opponents, became the better side, hitting the Red Devils on the break multiple times. The underdogs even finished the half with the best chance when Rupp’s shot at goal but was denied by a crucial Maguire block. The game was very end ..read more

All hopes of Premier League survival for Norwich have now been all but banished after City’s unfortunate loss to Everton in the extreme heat of Norfolk. Both sides were very evenly matched but Everton were the more clinical scoring with one of the few chances in the game. Everton started the better team with Norwich sitting back and allowing the Toffees’ young strike force to attack, but the away team struggled in the final third and failed to create any clear cut chances. As the half went on, Norwich became more confident and started venturing out of their own half more and more and, mainly t ..read more

Leeds United have made an enquiry about signing Norwich City midfielder Emi Buendia, a source has exclusively told Read Norwich. With the Yorkshire-based side hoping to get promoted and with the Canaries rooted to the bottom of the Premier League and looking likely to get relegated, the two clubs could soon be swapping divisions and it looks like Leeds want Buendia to come with them into the top-flight if they can finally get the promotion they’ve been chasing for so long. We are not, at this stage, aware of the reply that Leeds have had from the enquiry for the Argentine ..read more

New circumstances, same Norwich City. Canaries fans seemed confident in the buildup to the game, hoping that their team had turned a corner during the break and that the ‘miracle’ could be pulled off but after City’s small spell of dominance in the first half was over, any hopes of the Canaries starting the great escape on the first game back were slowly diminishing. The majority of the Canaries chances came early on in the match with Trybull, Mclean and Drmic all trying to give City their ideal start but through last-ditch defending and a bit of luck, the Saints made it through the onslaught ..read more
