Ginormous Wall Conquered
Tina's Tiny Living

After completing that ginormous wall, I had to come up with something to spruce it up. Back to Pinterest I went looking for ideas. Since my decor is Farmhouse Style, I thought what about a big wreath? Then, what do I make it out of? Grapevine? Straw? Greenery? Oh the decisions. So I started by making a list of what I wanted on it as far as ribbon, flowers and of course what colors. Well, I came up with this: Magnolias are one of my all time favorite flowers and my colors are light blush pink and a light mint green. This past week my oldest adopted grandson, Alberto, framed in the top part of south end wall above the front door. The right side of this wall, as your facing the door, has been nothing but a nightmare from the very beginning. A few months ago my oldest son suggested that I write about my adventure in finishing the inside of my tiny house. I really started thinking about this. But being in a tiny house I had limited space to set up a computer and what not. So back to Pinterest I went. I began my search for something that would work. I didn’t need anything big and bulky because I had an all in one computer. I ran across this one pin that showed a desk that hangs on the wall with the writing area that folds up and out of the way. Hmmm. Could I make this work for what I needed? Of course I could lol. I measured the spa ..read more

The Ceiling

When it came time to do my ceiling we were all dreading it because we knew it was going to be a pain the backside. Full sheets of drywall are not light and to get them up a ladder to a 12ft tall ceiling was not going to be easy. Unfortunately renting a drywall lift just wasn’t isn’t my budget so I had to ask my three older grandsons to help on this one. The first round of drywall wasn’t too bad. These went on the part just above where the walls end. The middle of my older 3 grandsons I even helped on these on the opposite wall. I had the stairs to help me out there. Next came the ones that wen ..read more
