I am building a quad and have reached the point where I want to try running each motor iindividually to make sure it spins in the correct direction and that I have correctly labled each ESC control plug. The motors are T-Motor MN5008 KV400 and require 6S voltage. I ordered a 10000 mAH lipo but accidentlly ordered a 4S instead of a 6S. I though that I could at least use it to test the gimbal, etc. To test a motor, I plugged it's ESC control line into CH 3 of my receiver, applied power and tried to arm/run the motor using the 4S lipo. After a few years hiatus, I have decided to build a new quadcopter. It will be a Tarot 650 Sport utilizing strictly old tech stuff as it is what I'm familiar with and my needs are modest: 15 minutes endurance, a three-axis stabilized GoPro Hero 10 camera and the ability to fly/land autonomously but assume manual control as needed.
