West Ham United are interested in signing Leeds United talent Sam Greenwood as Middlesbrough consider paying £1.5million for him.
Leeds United’s Sam Greenwood is now wanted by West Ham United after impressing on loan at Middlesbrough.
That is according to TEAMtalk, who report that West Ham are one of a number of clubs keen on signing Greenwood.
Leeds signed Greenwood from Arsenal back in 2020 as they struck a deal worth up to £3million.
Greenwood found first-team minutes hard to come by and was sent out on loan to Middlesbrough for this season.

Leeds United are interested in snapping up Sunderland defender Trai Hume but face competition from Burnley and Leicester City.
Sunderland talent Trai Hume is a wanted man ahead of the January transfer window with Leeds United now keen.
That is according to TEAMtalk, who claim that Leeds are now interested in snapping up Northern Irish talent Hume.
The Whites won again on Saturday afternoon, beating Middlesbrough 3-2 at Elland Road to continue their promotion push.

Harry Winks made a big call to leave Tottenham Hotspur for Leicester City this summer after coming through the ranks.
A boyhood Tottenham fan, the 27-year-old was handed his Spurs debut by Mauricio Pochettino, and went on to compete at the top end of the Premier League and in the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur have been given a boost in their pursuit of Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi amid claims he wants a Premier League move in 2024.

According to TEAMtalk, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Brentford all are interested in signing Kelechi Iheanacho from Leicester City in the January transfer window.
