the host shut us down last night as you know if you tried to use the site, this is the reason I got, not sure what the answer is but until I figure it out I've disabled add-ons like Tapatalk, you'll just have to use a mobile web browser for now

How to rewire thermostat , air handler and condenser . So air comes on cool and only regular strip heating for heat since we removed heat pump ??? I have managed to make them work but the tenants have to turn it to emergency heat if they were to kick the heat on if it goes to regular heat it does eventually get emergency heat but the outside unit comes on and it’s an AC not a heat pump what do I need to do to fix that ..read more

I am in residential and light commercial diagnostics and installs. I did tile work before this and am still new to the HVAC trade but I am about to have my EPA certification. I ride with the techs and then come home and research and study to learn even more. I have already learned a lot in 3 months and have bought quite a bit of HVAC specific tools. Hello everyone,
Our Kruger 3 phase 30kW exhaust fan has an unusually high starting current of 80A at star phase (well over full load current of 56A stated on the fan). So, when the fan changes to delta phase, the current reaches more than 200A as shown in the video. Then the current becomes steady at 45-50A and runs ok. Any ideas why the star current which should be about three times smaller than full load current is way higher than full load current? We have already checked the belt, rotor...

I went to my local supply house to get a 3 ton horizontal case coil and they said they were out and this place pretty much keeps everything in stock. Is this a thing now an equipment shortage , that’s what I was told ,went to another supply house and same thing. Thankfully I can still order online .10 day wait !

So this is to introduce myself, my name is Gary Warren and I have been in the industry since the early 80s before the whole ozone layer started depleting and we flushed systems with good old R11 and used punches and flathead screwdrivers to put round ductwork together.
