Grimsby’s Guy Martin has been described as ‘totally bonkers’ and a ‘ledge’ after he transformed an old volvo at his garage near Grimsby into a rally car. The mechanic and TV personality was back on Channel 4 last night (Monday) in the first of a four-part series, Guy’s Garage which shows him turning four classic cars into speed machines. The Queensland government has announced travellers will no longer have to pay $150 for PCR tests to enter the state from hotspots when border reopens next month. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the federal government has committed to funding the tests. Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt said on Tuesday the cost of tests would be split with states and territories. “The Commonwealth and states jointly fund 50/50 tests for… people who require a test as a result of state or territory health order,” he said. A Gold Coast woman who was adopted as a newborn has been reunited with her biological father after almost half a century. Camille Borgas, now 50, has spent most of her life searching for answers. In a heartwarming gesture, Queensland Police have gifted a support puppy to a young boy who is facing the tragic reality of life without his parents. On Monday, police officers came together to gift young Brisbane boy, Remi Rooney, a new best friend – a Labrador puppy named Copper.
