Merge functionality for Leads, Contacts and Accounts in Dynamics 365 and Dataverse has been around for a while, if you open the record which was deactivated in the merge process you can see where it was merged into. But from the ‘Master’ row there is no clear indicator that data has been merged from another row into this one, nor what data was merged. You can check the audit history but not all users have permissions to view this area and it can be notoriously slow to load.

Well its been a while since I blogged about Choice(s)/(Multi-select) Option Sets/Picklists so its time to (finally) share how you can create a very helpful child flow that will help you convert Choice or Choices column values from Label to Value and also Value to label for any table or column in Dataverse. In 100 words or less summarise consent in real-time marketing
Marketing permissions in Customer Insights - Journeys is found in the ‘Consent centre’ and also on the ‘Communication’ tab of the Contact/Lead form. Consent is stored in ‘contact point consent’ rows in Dynamics 365, but ‘Contact Point COnsent’ does not have a database relationship to Contact or leads. Rollup columns have been around since the dawn of time CRM. They are a great way to aggregate data across a hierarchy of data such as totals, averages, maximum and minimum, but they come with some limitations too. The shortest delay between each rollup calculation in the system is one hour, which is defined on a per column basis. In many cases this is sufficient, but sometimes you may want to force this recalculation after a change has been made which affect the roll up total.

More segment member view columns please
The only columns that show by default on the grid view for segment members is full name and email, but sometimes you need more than that and there is no way to configure the form or view... or so it seems! In fact, the columns that show in the member view are controlled by the columns used in your segment query.
