Photo by Adam Pretty/Getty Images While many of the key races in the Bundesliga are pretty much settled, we still have scraps for the final European spots and to avoid promotion/relegation playoff. With the extra Champions League spot all but guaranteed, we are running out of exciting races in the Bundesliga this season, especially at the top of the table. The title race is over, the five Champions League spots mean that the race for fourth is no longer particularly relevant, and Eintracht Frankfurt have sixth place and a Europa League spot all but cleared up. This leaves a second Europa ..read more

We have suffered enough. It is time to move on from the horrible 2023/24 home kits. Those of us who have been gifted the privilege of sight have spent this season having that gift spoiled by Borussia Dortmund’s grotesque home kit for the 2023/24 season. As such, we have been counting down the days to the release of a new kit that will hopefully not be a terrible mess. Several new Puma kits have been leaked after they dropped on the official Puma online store in China. This includes the new BVB home kit for the 2024/25 season. We are almost free. The initial reaction by BVB fans seems pretty ..read more

Photo by Federico Gambarini/picture alliance via Getty Images BVB were seconds away from being the first team to defeat Bayer Leverkusen. Borussia Dortmund played the role of underdog once again this season as they hosted Bayer Leverkusen at the Westfalenstadion. A dull first half, strong last-ditch defending, and a Niclas Füllkrug goal against the run of play saw Dortmund enter the last seconds of this match with a goal advantage. Leverkusen’s Stanisic rose above Dortmund’s defense in the 97th minute and sealed a tie for the visitors. Here are our ratings from Borussia Dortmund’s 1-1 draw wit ..read more

MOTM Poll: Dortmund (Almost) End Bayer Leverkusen’s Unbeaten Run

Photo by ANP via Getty Images It took Laterkusen until the latest possible moment, but they did stay undefeated another day. Well, it almost happened. Throughout their unbeaten run, Bayer Leverkusen have played sumptuous football that is pleasing to the eye, the mind, and the spirit. Borussia Dortmund have played a style that is... less so. It was the latter who were able to impose their style on the former. This game was gritty, slow, hard-fought, and at times, violent. It’s fitting then, that Bayer Leverkusen’s last-minute equalizer came not from a brilliant combination of passes or a golazo ..read more

Bayer Leverkusen have already been crowned Bundesliga champions and this match is near-meaningless for them as they partake in their victory parade. On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund are still in fifth place ..read more

Photo by Bernd Thissen/picture alliance via Getty Images Borussia Dortmund overcame a 2-1 deficit from the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Atleti, winning 4-2 on the night and 5-4 on aggregate. Borussia Dortmund have, at times, been pretty difficult to watch this season. Not only have the results been below expectations, but the performances have been mediocre, and the way BVB have approached games has only made their games more of an endurance event for fans. That was not the case last night, as BVB came out from the first whistle looking to make up for their poor pe ..read more
