"Laptop to Go" at the Library The Detroit Public Library is pleased to offer a “Laptop to Go” program allowing customers to check out a laptop for personal use. This new service is made possible with support from Lawrence Technological University. Laptops can be checked out on an adult Detroit Public Library card for 90 days. While there is no charge, there is a replacement fee if the laptop is lost or damaged.
