Mixing up a pumpkin spice simmer pot recipe is the foolproof way to make your whole house smell like you’re baking a pumpkin pie. My husband likes referring to it as the elusive cinnamon roll. Before you know it, your entire home will be transformed into a cozy autumn-time bakery. Simply add the following ingredients to a small pot and simmer. The same ingredients can be used for up to three days! Just be sure to add more water each time you turn on your stovetop. Love fall candles, but hate the toxins they omit? Simmering these spicy-autumn ingredients will take away your fall-candle-cravings ..read more

Cooking with Vitality Essential Oils

My team hosts a monthly gathering where we get together for fellowship and learning! Last month, we hosted the event at Three Trees Farm and talked about cooking with Young Living Vitality Essential Oils. Three Trees Farm has similar farming practices to Young Living’s organic practices. For example, they do not spray their produce—everything is weeded by hand. Three Trees also puts a heavy concentration on the health of their soil. This is also extremely important to Young Living. From the wise words of Gary Young, “if you don’t know your soil, you don’t know your oil!” During our time ..read more

In helping so many new members get acquainted with their Premium Starter Kits this time of year, I have been reminded of my first love when it comes to Young Living—the oils! ⁣⁣Back when I bought my first kit, it had the blend Joy in it and it was the first oil I ever diffused. I thought is smelled disgusting!! Thankfully, I was told that the plants weren’t made to smell good—they were made to work! I was also told to rub a drop of Joy on the bottoms of my feet for a few weeks so I wouldn’t have to smell it and it would still get in my system. Sure enough, my body began to crave that oil to th ..read more

It’s that time of year when everyone heads back to school and brings home all the germs! I have 4 kids ranging in age from 5-11 at three different schools—that’s a lot of germs! The main blend we use in our daily routine is Thieves. Every night we have the kids roll this on their feet. It turns out to be quite hilarious because of how ticklish their feet are! I love the legend behind this oil, and in our experience, it really works. Legend says that in France durin ..read more

August 10, 2019 Today is Rally Day! Young Living Rallies take place quarterly and offer a great opportunity to find a local group of Young Living members to meet up with. The best part about a Rally for me is the opportunity to meet like-minded people and hear different testimonies about how our essential oils have improved their health and the health of their families. One year, I met a lady certifi ..read more

Like many of you, our family has been busy getting ready for school. This week we’re attending open houses, shopping for school supplies, and trying to get to bed earlier.
