I took a quick trip to Carbonear this afternoon to pick up a package. I capitalized on the opportunity to visit one of the restaurants who is in a Burger Battle during the towns winter carnival. All restaurants need some help in the non-tourist season, so hats off to the organizers ..read more

The past 19 to 20 months have been interesting to say the least. The pandemic has forced us to re-think how we live and how we mentally survive. Precautions and restrictions have kept us close to home. No distant vacations. We have been asked to “staycation”, support local, and rightfully so. It has given me ..read more

There is an abundance of places to eat and drink downtown St. John’s. There are huge offerings of local craft beer and in-house made food that showcases the creativity of the brew masters and chefs of our province. In a year filled with uncertainty, especially in the service industry, the east end of St. John’s ..read more
