The Los Angeles Angels did not have a successful weekend in Houston against the Astros this weekend, as they only took 1 out of the 4 games after 3 games of pitching struggles, a lack of delivering in scoring opportunities, and more. Game 1 on Thursday saw Reid Detmers struggle to finish the at-bat despite being up 0-2 on a hitter several times. Is this Detmers issue, a coaching issue, or something else? Jon and Mike share their thoughts on why this struggle keeps happening, and they also discuss the horribly missed call by the umpire against Taylor Ward in segment 1.

The Los Angeles Angels win the series against the Chicago White Sox after a day where the bats came to life! Mike Trout started it all with a 2-run homer, and Shohei Ohtani delivered TWO 2-run homers, while Taylor Ward and Chad Wallach also got in on the home run party! Jared Walsh had an excellent game as well, and his bat is starting to come around, and it all came on the back of an excellent start from Jaime Barria who went 5 innings pitched with 1 run. We'll tell you why we're excited to see the bats get hot after yesterday's win in segment 1!
Then, with our hope of the Angels securing at ..read more

The Los Angeles Angels dropped game 2 of the series to the Chicago White Sox, after Tyler Anderson surrendered 5 runs in the 4th. The Halos weren't able to mount any offense outside of the 3 runs they had at that point courtesy of Shohei Ohtani, Taylor Ward, and Gio Urshela. Chase Silseth, Sam Bachman, and Aaron Loup played the mop-up role, but the Angels were unable to answer back against the Sox bullpen. We're asking the question; will the Angels regret the Tyler Anderson signing, or was this just a clunker of a start? We'll talk about it in segment 1!
Then, what kind of impact does Anthony ..read more

The Los Angeles Angels right the ship on Monday night against the Chicago White Sox on the back of a strong start from Griffin Canning and a debuting Ben Joyce! It was an exciting night all around, as Liam Hendriks made his return to the Sox after beating cancer, and he received a huge ovation from everyone in the stadium. Zach Neto had an incredible game at shortstop, making play after play, and Matt Thaiss had himself a great night as well, going back-to-back with Brandon Drury for a homer! We'll break down the game and give you all the highlights in segment 1!

The Los Angeles Angels were swept by the Miami Marlins this past weekend, and while game 1 saw them come up against challenging starting pitching in the form of Jesus Luzardo, games 2 and 3 saw multiple chances to score, multiple chances to have a shutdown inning, and multiple bad decisions that led to the Halos dropping 3 in a row. With Sam Bachman and Ben Joyce joining Chase Silseth in the bullpen, will they be reliable enough now that Matt Moore is going to the IL? What was up with the issues on Saturday night that cost the Halos horribly, including a double play where Matt Thaiss wasn't to ..read more

The Los Angeles Angels were a big topic of conversation over on "Foul Territory," where former MLB Network analyst and play-by-play host Scott Braun and several former big leaguers, including veteran catcher Erik Kratz, talk baseball every weekday! The Los Angeles Angels swept the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday, after Tyler Anderson turned in 6 great innings, and Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout, and Zach Neto all homered in this one! The Halos had some strong defense at work in this one as well, keeping the lead throughout the game and adding enough run support to make it comfortable for the bullpen to finish out the game well. We'll break it all down for you in segment 1!
Then, with the win last night, the Angels would only need 2 more victories to get to 15 wins in May, which would keep them on pace to have at least 90 wins by the end of the se ..read more

The Los Angeles Angels take another series win against a plus .500 team in the form of the Boston Red Sox, as Griffin Canning pitches 7 scoreless innings of 2-hit baseball! Mickey Moniak leads off with yet another home run, and Matt Thaiss and Mike Trout get in on the home run parade as well! The big story here was Canning's start, getting through 7, and the bullpen keeping the Sox off the board thanks to Matt Moore and Jacob Webb. Mike and Jon recap the game and discuss what's been different with the Halos lately in segment 1!
Then, in segments 2 and 3, Jon and Mike share their Shohei Ohtani ..read more
