Jobs won’t be won or lost during off-season workouts. Instead, they will be determined in training camp and preseason action, which begins in a couple months. Austin Ekeler can make an extra $1.75 million in the final year of his contract with the Chargers, and now the details have been reported. According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, Ekeler can make up to $1 million for total yards, with tiers from 1,125 to 1,639. He can make up to $600K for touchdowns, with tiers from 10 to 16.
