Nine women who had been arrested in Zimbabwe for allegedly booing the first lady have had the charges dropped, local media report. The Ghana Water Limited (GWL) has served notice to publish a list of its defaulters by the close of May 2024 after the company observed a huge accumulation of arrears owed by its customers. There is an overall decline of approximately 4.47% in Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) consumption from January 2020 to December 2023, compared to a growth of roughly 6.43% in the preceding four-year period, spanning January 2016 and December 2019, the Institute for Energy Security(IES) has revealed. Police in Namibia have launched a massive manhunt for 11 prisoners who escaped from a police cell in north-eastern Zambezi region, state media reported.
