After sending a sixth-round draft pick to the New York Jets in exchange for quarterback Zach Wilson and a seventh-round pick earlier this week, the Denver Broncos still hold eight picks to use in the 2024 NFL draft.
The Broncos are set to select 12th overall in the first round (will they still draft a quarterback?) on Thursday night, but they do not hold a second-round pick after sending it to the New Orleans Saints to acquire coach Sean Payton last year. They will go back on the clock in the third round on Friday.
Denver is scheduled to make selections in the first, third, fourth, fift ..read more

Finally, the 2024 NFL draft has arrived!
We’ve reached draft day, which means it’s time for a last-minute first-round NFL mock draft.
The mock includes nine trades, although two of those trades do not involve first-round picks. The Denver Broncos send wide receiver Courtland Sutton to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the San Francisco 49ers send receiver Brandon Aiyuk to the Buffalo Bills for picks outside of the first round.
Trades are nearly impossible to predict, so I’m not going to get into the fine details besides saying LAC and TEN swap picks Nos. 5 and 7, MIN and CHI swap 9 and 11, SEA and ..read more

The 2024 NFL draft will begin tonight (April 25) in Detroit and the Denver Broncos are scheduled to select 12th overall in the first round. Barring trades, the Broncos will make eight picks during the draft this week.
After making a flurry of roster moves earlier this offseason, Denver has now turned its attention toward the draft. View the team’s (projected*) depth chart going into the draft below.
(*Note that this is a projection from Broncos Wire, not an official depth chart from the team. The Broncos will not release an official depth chart until preseason begins later this summer ..read more

The Denver Broncos are set to make eight picks in the 2024 NFL draft this week, but that number could change if the team makes any trades.
The team’s biggest draft need remains quarterback, even after the team acquired Zach Wilson from the New York Jets. The Broncos still need a long-term answer at QB, and there are rumblings that the team could trade up to get one.
After quarterback, the team’s second-biggest need is arguably pass rusher. If Dallas Turner does not fall to Denver at pick No. 12, the Broncos might consider Laiatu Latu or Jared Verse in the first round.

The 2024 NFL draft has finally arrived!
The Denver Broncos are set to make eight picks this week, including the 12th overall pick in the first round on Thursday night. After releasing Russell Wilson in March, Denver’s biggest draft need is quarterback.
Earlier this month, Jeff Risdon of Draft Wire released his big board of the top 200 prospects in this year’s class and nine quarterbacks made the cut.
Risdon definitely did not get caught up in the conventional wisdom of consensus rankings leading up to the draft.
Unlike most draft pundits, Risdon does not have USC’s Cal ..read more

The Denver Broncos are set to add several rookies to their roster during the 2024 NFL draft this week. Before the Broncos make their picks, we’ve put together an update on the team’s 90-man offseason roster.
If the Broncos use exactly eight picks this week, that would leave room to sign nine undrafted free agents following the draft. Denver is often active with trades during the draft, so that could change the number of picks the team ends up making. The Broncos also sometimes release bottom-of-the-roster players to make room for UDFA signings after the draft.
With those notes in mind, here’s ..read more

ESPN Analytics has put together a list of the players most likely to be picked by the Broncos at that spot, assigning a percentage to the likelihood of each player to be drafted at No. 12.
The favorite is Toldelo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell (13.5%), but offensive linemen Taliese Fuaga (12.5%) and Olumuyiwa Fashanu (10.5%) are not far behind. Beyond those top three are cornerback Terrion Arnold (10%), pass rusher Jared Verse (9.5%) and tight end Brock Bo ..read more
