I just found her on YouTube a few weeks ago and she has already entirely revolutionized my way of thinking. He arguments are so strong and she is an expert polemicist and she has the data to prove her arguments.
I'm anti abortion and anti homosexual and she is so smart when she refutes these things, Foolish little college students who defend trannies, she tears them apart and they always leave speechless.
She also went into the issue of George Floyd and mentioned that when this was on...

I have a student doing a summer school project. They want to write on the way different faiths discuss the use of violence against governments.
From the varied faith traditions of the members here, what would you consider the “must reads” for a 15-year old doing a comparative essay on this topic? Texts need to be in English.
Thanks for your help ..read more

A 10-minute excerpt on Shi'i Ismaili-Muslim Christology from the standpoint of interfaith dialogue and comparative religion.
This explained so much to me, bringing a huge smile, especially around the 8-minute mark, when the lecture touched on the 'phenomenon of a mirror' and the Imam manifesting/reflecting the Divine Intellect.
Hopefully I can track down the complete lecture ...
... as I have touched briefly on Henry Corbin, and the Ismaili Traditionalist Reza...

Humans are all children of Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.
The scriptures were passed down by the Messiah before he officially...

A basic Dhamma booklet by Nyanaponika Thera:
https://www.bps.lk/olib/wh/wh251_Nyanaponika_Roots-of-Good-and-Evil.pdf
His Introduction begins:
The Buddha has taught that there are three roots of evil: greed, hatred and delusion. These three states comprise the entire range of evil, whether of lesser or greater intensity, from a faint mental tendency to the coarsest manifestations in action and speech. In whatever way they appear, these are the basic causes of suffering.
These...

In an effort to help improve and deepen our dialogue with @Thomas and @RJM, I would like to share a few quotes about Baha'u'llah's approach to metaphysics from The Archeology of the Kingdom of God, which is an English translation by Peter Terry of a French work by Jean-Marc Lepain. Because it is a translation, the wording for me is a little strange in places, but the writer is clearly knowledgeable. Let's start off with a comparison between Baha'u'llah's approach and...

(Continued from Oldmeadow)
"One criterion of religion derives from the principle of orthodoxy. Schuon articulates the principle thus:
"In order to be orthodox a religion must possess a mythological or doctrinal symbolism establishing the essential distinction between the Real and the illusory, or the Absolute and the relative... and must offer a way that serves both the perfection of concentration on the Real and also its continuity. In other words a religion is orthodox on condition that...
