Hi all! Still undecided on whether to apply for Fall 2025 or wait for next year, so I'm just trying to gauge my chances and would appreciate your help! I have an MSc and 2 years of experience in the neuropsychiatry sector within the pharma industry, and I'm a bit unsure about whether a PhD in Neuroscience would be feasible for me if I want to keep both the industry and academia doors open. My main concern is that I have very little lab experience, and I have not used many neuroimaging techniques in practice. However, this year I was very lucky to publish my (non-lab based) research on a >1 ..read more

Hi all, There are quite a few threads already about post-interview acceptance rates at other programs, but I for some reason cannot find much info about MIT Biology. How selective is the program post interviews? Also, does anyone happen to know how many people they typically invite to interviews (or to each of the three open house dates)?  ..read more

What Can I Use to Access All Known Species?

What I want is the ability to browse and search through a site or database containing all officially-recognized species with pictures and up-to-date names at least, rather than limiting my sources to those that might become outdated, incomplete (as far as listed species go) or bound by location-s ..read more
