Two sculptures, two painted depictions, both, your own version....reason, your imperfections, half- hearted observation. The Aihole Mahishasurmardini on top becomes seven handed due to my own fault and gets a different style with a cosmic background, did I do this purposely, yes.
A silver statue from Gandhar period is mesmerizing, but, again, It became my own version, this time, a deliberate attempt.. I am evolving(?).. Probably.  ..read more

Inspired from a panel of Ajanta, this painting nestled in an inconspicuous corner of a cave makes me highly emotional each time I look onto it. Story goes that Buddha, once attaining nirvana and adopting Bhukshutva, came to beg at his own doorsteps where he left his wife Yashodhara and infant son Rahula.
