The Vikings on Saturday made a surprise move, as the team waived guard Pat Elflein just a day after bringing him off the injured reserve. The 2017 third-round pick of the team was dealing with a thumb injury that was suffered in practice back in September. A Viking great has passed away, as linebacker Matt Blair has passed away at the age of 70. Blair was one of the greatest linebackers in the history of the Vikings franchise, a six-time Pro Bowler who played in two Super Bowls. His death was announced by the team.
