Hello! I am using a Lenovo M Tab 8 as a video player in an art exhibition. What I would like is for the tablet to sleep after 10 minutes or so, but wake up (raise to wake) when it is picked up, (keep) play(ing) the screen-pinned Video Looper, and then go back to sleep after 10 minutes or so, just to conserve battery (but wake up when the next person picks it up). I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. Purchased last year. Lower end model and I knew that when I bought it because I mostly use it for watching stuff before bed, so I didn't need anything really high end, but man is it slow/unresponsive. I've disabled every feature that eats up memory and I use the little sweeping function in device care all the time, but it's still pretty brutal. Anybody know any tips/tricks to make it snappier? My tablet is in DNX FASTBOOT MODE, and when I enter the console, nothing appears. I've tried restoring it with adb, but it doesn't work either. I can't put it in safe mode either. i got this motorola zoom from goodwill and i was under the impression that the usb port was the charge port. i plugged it in overnight and nothing. so in looking it up it turns out i actually has a charge port separate from the usb port. i did not see in the manual what the voltage is for the charge port. but going to ebay and looking for the zoom tablet i found out it is 12vdc so i found a 12 volt power supply and an adapter to plug it in and charge it up now the issue! it is android 4.1.2 and it just will not connect to the play store so i can get one app. i hear google is starting to not u ..read more
