Could Isaiah Collier and Keyonte George be the backcourt of the future?
While Isaiah Collier and the USC Trojans failed to make the 2024 March Madness tournament, he showed physical, on-ball defensive potential that has him currently projected as a lottery pick. He’s certainly a unique player: being built like a linebacker with point guard abilities. With Utah collecting the most turnovers in the league last season, having a genuine point guard might assist the Jazz in constructing a roster ready for “big game hunting”. Collier was once viewed as a top-5 pick ..read more

Stephon Castle is the type of player every coach wants
Stephon Castle and the UConn Huskies had one of the most dominant seasons in college basketball for a long time. They were 37-3 for the season and never looked close to losing during the tournament. Even though Stephon Castle wasn’t the leading scorer or lead playmaker, he had his fingerprint on everything the Huskies did. Castle, paired with Donovan Clingan defending the rim, helped lead an elite level defense that stifled teams night after night. On the offensive end, Castle was an e ..read more

Jazz 3rd pick will be at #29 after another loss to Denver
The Denver Nuggets beat the Jazz once again today. This time it wasn’t a 7-game series, a random Tuesday night game, or anything competitive at all. The Jazz’s third pick in the 2024 NBA draft courtesy of OKC was tied with the Denver Nuggets for 28. In this scenario the league flips a coin, the coin lands for Denver and they will have the 28th pick in the draft, the Jazz getting the 29th.
Does this matter?
Not really. The difference between the 28th and 29th pick in this draft is not much ..read more

We discussed the Utah Jazz draft prospects and what the best players for them to pick would be
On this podcast, I was lucky enough to be joined by Tyler Rucker of No Ceilings. Smith is making good on his promises to build the professional sports market in Utah
The NHL is coming to Utah. After weeks of rumors and reports, the NHL Board of Governors has unanimously approved the establishment of a new hockey franchise in Utah. While it is technically being called a new franchise, it will essentially be like a sale and relocation of the Arizona Coyotes personnel and players under a new name.
The memo from the NHL’s public relations states, “The National Hockey League’s Board of Governors today approved the establishment of a franchise beginning ..read more

Here is everything you need to know about Utah’s point guard position, entering the off-season
The Jazz have fallen into point guard instability once again. During the 2023-24 season, the Jazz cycled through numerous point guard rotations, with rookie Keyonte George eventually taking control of the starting position full-time. Although George showed obvious talent throughout the season, shooting inefficiency and poor defensive presence remain valid concerns. Should Utah look to bolster the position through the draft? We’ll dive more into that later. Let’s take a lo ..read more
