I am looking for a recommendation for a laptop that will be a supplement to couple of existing desktops for our growing NGO office. Here are some use cases:

Website development using WIX platform and regular website content update
Creating newsletters
Some thoughts on what we are looking for:
Given that there will be couple of other desktops in the office, this doesn't have to be the primary device for...

What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? Coding and gaming
What size and weight considerations do you have? 15" is ideal, more works too. No particular preference of weight, just don't want to compromise performance or longevity for sleek look or thinness
Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? No such preference, any brand with good after sales service works
Any other considerations? 16 GB ram minimum. Just want the most performant laptop I can...

I'm looking to buy a refurbished ThinkPad X390, preferably with 16GB of RAM and an i5. What's the best place to get such a laptop? A T480s or something similar would fine as well. Basically need a lightweight ThinkPad that I know will last for 2-3 years at least. Any other suggestions (new, other brands, etc.) are welcome as well. And I know the budget says "21K-30K" but realistically 25K is a hard cap.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers ..read more

As the the topic says, looking for a smallish laptop (13-14 inch) with good performance. My most important criteria is long life - I want to use the laptop for atleast 4 preferably 5 years. I am in real estate and hence would prefer a nice design. Would mainly be used for excel, ppt, docs etc and I would be using it to project on tv etc a lot. Prefer a 16gb RAM.
So far I have shortlisted the Samsung Book 2 Pro 13 inch primarily due to its small stylish design.
Open to macbook M1 as well...

I'm in the market for a decent laptop which can serve:
* casual daily use such as web browsing, email, messaging, movies and such
* light Adobe Photoshop/photo editing and graphics design work including Adobe Lightroom, Canva etc
* basic coding work such as html, javascript, css, python etc
* budget preferably around 50k but upto 65k is easily stretchable; can also make 70k work if the laptop is really good
As a starting point, I found the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 Gen 8, 14inch (with AMD Ryzen...
