Photo by James Black/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images The Bengals have been looking into a lot of Day 3 linebackers in the 2024 class, and that continues with their latest reported meeting. The Cincinnati Bengals have their starting linebackers locked in for at least the next two years with Germaine Pratt and Logan Wilson. After those two, however, they don’t have anyone on a long-term contract, so while it is not a major need, it is the perfect position to use a Day 3 pick on. The most recent reported meeting fits with that mold perfectly. Justin Melo reported that Indiana linebacker Aaron Ca ..read more

Bengals grab a DE in ESPN mock draft following Trey Hendrickson trade request

Photo by Dylan Buell/Getty Images Hendrickson may not get traded, but he wants out. Should that change the Bengals focus ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft? Trey Hendrickson wants a new deal, and without one, he wants out of Cincinnati. While the Bengals don’t have an intent to trade the star, keeping the band together while not paying long-term deals to stars may not be a recipe for success as the 2024 NFL Draft inches closer. Cincinnati has the No. 18 pick in the first round, and defensive end really didn’t seem like a position group they would target here, especially after spending a first-round p ..read more

Cara Owsley-USA TODAY Sports Both sides seem “impatient” as talks have progressed little. Since the arrival of Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the best teams in the NFL. With that national spotlight, the team’s stadium, Paycor Stadium, has been put on a television screen more times than seemingly ever before. That said, the Bengals are going to start having lease negotiations with the Hamilton County Commissioners, and neither side has been going at a reasonable pace. Both sides seem to be growing increasingly frustrated with the situation. Here is an excerpt on the situati ..read more

Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty Images The CBA allegedly prevents it. Cincinnati Bengals star Trey Hendrickson wants a long-term deal, but that’s hard to do right now. On July 27, 2023, Hendrickson signed a contract extension and isn’t fully eligible for a new deal yet. Sports agent Jesse James brought this note from the CBA to light after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Hendrickson’s desire to play elsewhere. Per the NFL CBA, Hendrickson can add years to his current contract but can’t add any increase in money to his 2024 or 2025 seasons for several more months. So that effectively nukes a new d ..read more
