I have some dirty cars :(. I let them slip this winter. Now it’s time to pay the piper. This weekend I’ll dedicate a day to a major interior cleaning and get the outside de gunked and iron led out and clayed. Then the following weekend I’ll quick wash , quick decon, polish and ceramic coat it. Looking for a good recommendation on a pre wash. I usually just foam witn car wash and let sit and rinse. Those of us who have been here a long time surely remember the reputation this car wash had. It was "strong" and would "strip your protection." While that may have been true, I always really enjoyed using it. It cleaned well, sheeted water, had a cool translucent purple glow, and I was really fond of the scent. I have used Iron X then moved to Poorboys Iron remover and both were pretty good. The Poorboys was soapy and a bear to rinse but worked. I’m out and looking around these got expensive. I see the Adams iron remover is like 1/2 the price of the ones I have previously used. Anyone have experience using the Adams product ? I get that performance matters so I’m asking for feedback. Hello, In detailing my personal vehicle this past week, I ran into the first time, in a long time where my compound really met its match. I have a 2009 CTS-V in Tri-Coat Red. The clear on this car was rock hard and heavily scratched and marred. I didn`t even take before and afters because I thought this was going to be a, two pass and done sort of deal.
