hey,i have some problem with kia sorento 2007 2.5crdi diesel model,when engine chain broke then it went to autoshop and they switched chain and all of the upper engine parts,and now it dont start first time ,sometime it starts immediately,but very often i need to crank it half hour, but it starts like 1 sec and then stalls, but when it starts,it works like a charm,it doesnt show any error codes,all sensors have controlled and switched,it has been 4 different autoshop plus kia dealership... Update. It was the fuel injector and fuel line leaking fuel into the oil and onto the engine. Warranty! Hi, Long time lurker first time poster. Possible head gasket or big engine issue after it basically died, with sputtering and white smoke from both exhausts. Wondering if it’s warranty possibly or if they will try to say otherwise. The Kia dealers are slammed and best I could get is they can look at it in a week, it just got towed to them so now I wait. Figured I’d poke around here... In my 2021 Sportage, often when shifting from 6th to 5th, the car jerks pretty substantially. I've had it in the dealership 5 times now for this. I might be missing something here. Is there anyway to make sure the engine doesn't turn on (keep in EV mode) when turning on the fan with climate? There doesn't seem to be a heat button at all to make sure. There have been a few occasions where it's a sunny 10, 15 degrees Celcius outside and I just wanted some ventilation from the system.
