Recently purchased 2016 F150 and been to the dealer twice now, said they can't find anything, feel like there's a communications problem somewhere, any ideas how to diagnose or where to start? Shouldn't a Ford dealer know? I charged the battery which is only 2 years old, and then had a local guy read the codes and print a report which basically called out communications errors. Thanks! Hello all, I have been unable to find a forum post anywhere on if you can replace the cables in the 15-20 F-150, Expedition, and Navigator Vista roof without removing the headliner completely and dropping the sunroof frame. That being said I decided to give it a try, and you CAN in fact do it. It is a tight fit and you will have to be very careful with the plastics as they may be brittle. Downshifting vs. Regenerative Braking There's a very long drive down a hill with a stop sign at the end. When I had my Cheyenne RST with the V8, I'd downshift. With the PowerBoost, I'd brake. Just today, I thought I'd downshift in the PowerBoost instead of braking. When I drove past the stop sign, I noticed it stayed electric much longer and ICE kicked in way later. This is on the right side of the engine facing in This is a 1990 v8 5.0. Noticed white gray smoke coming out of the roof.
