At the time that I am publishing this post, we are going to into our 3rd week of quarantine, the state I live in announced that Distance Learning has been extended at least until May 1st instead of the initial April 15th date we were given, and the days seem to be melting into one another. My husband and I spent much of Summer 2019 mulling over whether or not we wanted to try our hand at Home Schooling. We’d toyed with the idea previously, but eventually became intentional with our research. I even made sure to get advice from my friends who Home School so that I could have a real idea of what this could look like for us. March began on such a high note. On the 1st of this month I was wrapping up the very last day of my 1st 3 Day In Person Event for my 8 week coaching program. The days leading up to Hurricane Dorian were anxiety inducing. It was all everyone could talk about, places were running out of gas, and we were constantly receiving phone calls about school closures extending. No strangers to hurricanes, we went down the checklist to prepare our home and did our best to relax. The hurricane was scheduled for Labor Day Weekend, so we decided to postpone our getaway plans for another time.
