I just got 4 laying hens from a family member today. A few of them are a little on the older side. Hello! Does anyone have any knowledge on E. coli infections in chickens? My hen has been showing symptoms of seeming distant. She eats and drinks but seems uncomfortable. Her poop is tinged green even though she has no vegetables or grass in her system for a week. I began seeing green poops since two days ago. I recently purchased a used dickeys incubator and everything is working great except the automatic turner. The egg turner will move the trays fine in manual mode. But when I flip the switch to automatic it just moves the turner to the right one time and doesn’t turn them anymore. Is this something I can possibly fix without getting a new part, or is this an issue with the turner motor?
