The Jets are the biggest threat to the Dolphins in the AFC East

The Miami Dolphins (6-3) have taken care of business through the first half of the 2023 season. They haven’t lost a game at home and have beaten all of the teams they were supposed to beat. As the narrative goes, however, they can’t beat a team with a winning record. Nevermind that they’ve only played 3 such games and all 3 have been on the road. They were truly only blown out in one game and that was at Buffalo. Heading into the second half of the season, the Dolphins will have a number of games they should be favored in for the next 5 games (vs. Raiders, @ Jets, @ Commanders, vs. Titans, vs ..read more

Dolphins have a chance to win ‘THAT’ type of game

The Miami Dolphins started the season with a 17-16 win over the New England Patriots last week. Some want to say it was not the type of performance they were expecting. Listen, beating that team, with that coach, in that building, is a feat. It would’ve been more impressive if the Patriots had their former Super Bowl-winning QB or their best defensive player. But a win in the division, on the road, to open the season, is impressive. It’s not like they beat the Jets! But now we turn to the big game, the Dolphins home opener against the Buffalo Bills. This game, even though it’s only week 2, is ..read more

Miami Dolphins Season Preview 2021 – by Miguel S.

Welcome Miami Dolphins’ fans to the 2021 season!   A season for renewed optimism and hope.   If you’ve come for hope, then maybe I’m not your guy.   Since the playoffs in 1999, I’ve been more guarded with my aqua and orange heart.  Those of you who were not around for it, the 62-7 loss to the Jaguars in the 2nd round was devastating.  It was Dan Marino’s last game and we’ve been searching for a quarterback ever since. Fast forward two decades later and in steps Tua Tagovailoa.  The excitement of draft night, seeing if he would slide to the Dolphins.  “Fi ..read more

Pitiful Picks: Will the Dolphins start the crazy 2020 season with an upset win?

The Miami Dolphins play an actual, real-life football game on Sunday. As hard as that is to believe, consider the fact that the Dolphins are being picked by some ‘experts’ to finish first in the AFC East. Remember, this is the same Dolphins team that was vilified for ‘tanking’ and mocked by many of the same pundits that have cheered their offseason moves. The sports media is full of hypocrites! (no, we aren’t getting into politics, don’t worry!). Could the Dolphins Have a Secret Deal in Place with the Bengals?

The Miami Dolphins seem to be sending new smokescreens every 2-3 days about which QB they are targeting in the 2020 NFL Draft. One rumor/smokescreen/possibility has been that the Dolphins are eager to trade up to #1 overall to draft Joe Burrow. Most have scoffed at this possibility as the move would likely mean giving up a LOT of draft resources. One theory suggests that the Dolphins would first have to move up to #3 (trading with the Lions), and then vaulting up to #1. The reason for this being that the Bengals don’t want to drop all the way to #5 and miss on their next favorite QB target. Ph ..read more

What is the Miami Dolphins Strategy for the 2020 Draft?

The Miami Dolphins have, by far, the most ammunition in the upcoming NFL Draft. Not so coincidentally, they also have arguably the most holes to fill in said draft. With 14 total picks in the draft, the Dolphins have the ability to fill a large number of holes and move up and down the draft board at will. The questions are: What is their strategy? What holes do they deem most important? What prospects to they see the most potential in? With the country on lockdown, sources and inside information are harder to come by….especially from an organization like the Dolphins that is now like Fort Knox ..read more

Dolphins Draft strategy will involve a QB, but which one?

The Miami Dolphins are poised to have a very big offseason and should completely transform their roster over the next 3 months. That’s right, in just 3 months, the Miami Dolphins will have spent a bunch of money in free agency and will have used their war chest of draft picks (in one way or another). The Dolphins roster will look drastically different in 3 months than it does today (and certainly different than it looked at the end of their 5-11 season). We can only guess how this offseason will go. What positions will the Dolphins focus on in free agency? Will they spend big? Will they look f ..read more

The Miami Dolphins seem to be improving week-to-week on the football field. But what remains consistently stellar is their work within the South Florida community. On Sunday, the Dolphins announced the winner of this year’s Play Football High School Player of the Year award. The winner, Derek Wingo, is a senior at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. Derek Wingo, Linebacker Saint Thomas Aquinas I had a chance to meet Derek on Sunday and he seems to be an exceptional young man, ready to take his talents up to coast to play for the Florida Gators.
