These FLAT SOCKS are amazing! I’ve been wearing them for about 2 weeks now and I have to say they work really well. I have a lot of shoes that I love to wear, but they look so much better without socks on. Especially now that summer is right around the corner, I still want t ..read more

First and foremost…I was 25 years old when I started this blog. Well, Mama ain’t in her 20’s anymore and things are starting to snap, crackle, and pop! Here I am in the land of my 40’s and it’s true what my Grandpa used to say, “Getting old ain’t for whimps”. I work at the computer a LOT, whether it’s at work or at home editing photos, I use my hands a ton. Typing catches up to you and my hands and wrists get really sore and cramped. A new product I’m loving is this arnica cream. It’s all natural pain relief you can use for sore joints and muscles. I am here ladies and ..read more

It’s that time of year again, when we all set goals and resolutions. This year I’m excited to work on my health journey. Terence just ordered a new set of weights and we are turning our garage into a “sort of gym“. Connor mentioned wanting to lift weights and so that’s what we got for our family to workout together. I’m hoping we all stick with it. But….alas most of you know I work at a desk all day from 8am-5pm and that leaves me little time to focus on my health. At the end of the day when I get home after a long day it’s all I can do to put dinner together. I got a C ..read more

This is going to be the ultimate photo dump for 2022 and my lack of blogging in general! Ha! Anyway…we had a very Merry Christmas and I wanted to share some of our favorite memories!
We love our Nannie Sue and going to the farm. There’s truly nothing like being at the farm for Christmas. It’s been that way my whole life and I can’t imagine the season any other way. We are so thankful for Nannie. This was the year her kitchen pipes froze and Mom was hauling water from the bathroom to the kitchen to wash dishes. Glad her pipes finally thawed! We had some competitive games of the “Christmas Ham ..read more

I’ve worked in finance and helping people plan for their future over 15 years now. I love my job and helping others in my community think about all the “What ifs” of life! Of course you never know what is in store from day to day, so it’s always good to start planning early. My husband and I have been married over 21 years now. The one thing I know is that we try to plan for all that uncertainty in our family so that our kids will be okay. The best time to invest in cheap term life insurance is when you are young, but it’s never too late to purchase a policy.  ..read more

July 1st my baby girl turned THREE! Gosh how the years fly by and go so slow at the same time. It seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. She is my lil “Heidi Bug” – the nickname I call her. She’s tiny, but so strong! Heidi loves all things pink and red, her baby dolls are her favorite thing to play with, and she likes to sing and dance. She loves the show Blaze and Sing 2. Heidi wants to do everything her big brother Heidi does and is very independent. “I can do it myself!” she always says. Heidi loves to read boo ..read more
