Anyone else bored with the delicate gold jewelry a la Mejuri style from the past few years? After nearly a year in loungewear and yoga pants, I find myself gravitating towards maximalism after an entire year in loungewear.
Lately I’ve been on an absolute accessory spree as 2020 was the year I got comfortable with my heavier (thanks quarantine) body and figured out which silhouettes and colors fit me best. My style is simple, well-tailored, and mostly neutral. smash karts...

Before starting Ozempid last June my weight peaked over 230.
Today it's 180.
BMI was 31 or 32, and 30 is classified obese.
Now it's 26.
Better yet, all the results for all of my medical tests are now in the normal range for a healthy person.
Believe it or not, I haven't exercised any more since starting Oz.
50 pounds went poof while remaining a lazy couch office-chair potato.
Amazing!
Just Amazing!
My doctor is ordering a new sleep test to see if my Sleep...

I thought I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this asscher. I do love my ring but the more I research, I fear that the table percentage is to large and that I could have done better. I’m interested in honest feedback as I continue to learn about asscher cuts. This is my favorite cut and it won’t be my last purchase. Thank you!

Hi All,
I bought a cool Alexandrite specimen recently that came with an American International GemLab certification. The certification company looks good, but it also looks like it was trying to imitate another certificate company or group called American International Gemologists, and the AIGemLabs has an office in Delaware (which is known for being an easy state to register shell companies in). The main offices are located in Bangkok. The website looks legitimate but also very slim...

I recently bought these 10k studs with 1/10c diamonds and noticed that they’re not even on all 4 corners and wanted to hear others opinions if this is even something to be concerned about because not everything can be perfect, but I did pay a decent amount. I’ll post some pics below. I also noticed one of the post are slightly bent but it doesn’t effect wearing them and totally could’ve been me ..read more

After giving up on my fantasy setting (which no one else would ever wear) I bought a used semi-mount on ebay, a YG 1980s era ring with four side stones of princesses. (Someone hand lovedogs a barf bag, please.) The ring reminds me of my mother's ring from that era, which I sold to a friend. I really like the ring and the CBI is, of course, fabulous. And it's finall y off my fax machine and in a ring ..read more

Hello. I am looking to sell my beautiful engagement ring. I don't want to take it to a jewelry store, Im thinking I'd like to try to sell it myself. Its GIA certified and I have an appraisal report for it as well. All I can think of is Craig's list but I don't think that's the best choice. Does anyone have an recommendations where I can sell my directly to a buyer. I also have a nice pair of diamond earrings. Thanks in advance ..read more

Looking for an appraiser in Orange County or vicinity. My current appraisals don’t indicate the stones are WF ACA and WF ES and the value is really inflated. 3.17 JSI ACA is appraised is at 54K, yikes. My JM insurance renews next week and the only way to adjust the policy to the correct values is to provide new appraisals. Thank you ..read more

I’m having my engagement ring diamond (2.51 ct….8.20 x 7.53 x 5.17 mm, GIA I, VS1 modified cushion cut) reset at my local jeweler, he does all his work on site. This is the third set of drawings they’ve sent me and I still feel that it's not quite right. My request was to have an angled halo (similar to the fabulous Victor Canera that was posted by Frankiextah) with very little metal showing along the bottom edge, no airline, and have the halo set tight, so that it would not...
