The Portland Trail Blazers could make some moves this offseason and should be listening on the trade market.
The Portland Trail Blazers were quiet at this year’s NBA trade deadline, but now that the team is in the offseason, there’s reason to think the team may be more willing to make a move.
While the Blazers value Brogdon and his veteran presence, the team should listen to any offers they may get if it can benefit the team in the long run.
Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus came up with a hypothetical three-team deal with the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 7 ..read more

Will anyone be here in 2030?
The Portland Trail Blazers have a young and varied roster. They haven’t been successful yet, but you can point to almost any player as a source of hope for the future. Conversely, pointing to certainties is difficult. Today’s Blazer’s Edge Mailbag question rides the line between the two. Check it out.
Dave,
It appears to me you might be down on this roster. That’s fair I suppose. I’m more optimistic but not for next year but the years beyond. That brings me to my question. How many of the current roster do you think will be still on th ..read more

A reader wants us to talk about injuries. They play a role, but how big?
The Portland Trail Blazers lost approximately sixteen billion player games to injury during their unfortunate 2023-24 season. The team, as designed, didn’t get off the launching pad. Heck, they didn’t even get to it. That reality shaped not only strategy and lineups for the year, but perception of the team itself. How big a role did health really play, though? That’s the subject of today’s Blazer’s Edge Mailbag.
Dave,

We toss out a question today to our readers: Which current Blazer is most likely to get votes next year for Most Improved Player?
The NBA announced Tuesday that the Philadelphia 76ers’ Tyrese Maxey won the Most Improved Player award, just holding off the Chicago Bulls’ Coby White. Understandably, no Portland Trail Blazers players received votes this year.
However, this leads us to a question for the community:
Which current Portland Trail Blazers player is most likely to win, or receive votes, for the NBA Most Improved Player in 2025?
We have a list of many c ..read more
