After a spirited comeback while playing down a man, FC Dallas lost a heartbreaker to defending MLS Cup champions LAFC last Saturday. It was a very disappointing start to FCD’s 2023 campaign, losing their home opener for the first time since 2009. It is still way too early to make any major judgments, but let’s overreact anyways.
