One of the biggest concerns I had when I was pregnant with my second daughter, was how we were going to introduce our newborn to our toddler? How would she cope? Would she be gentle? Would she feel as loved as we loved her? Let them be the first one to meet them The first meeting is a special time for your toddler and your baby (not to mention a great photo opportunity). Be sure that your toddler is given the important role of being the first person other than the parents to meet, hold and bond with baby. You may wish to ask other family and friends to wait until your toddler has had a chance ..read more

Reducing the kid related clutter! Your bundle of joy (and all of their stuff!) You may delight in how tiny your new baby is, but the gear they come with be can be anything but! By the time you have the essentials, like a bassinet or cot, pram and car seat you may already find your previously comfortable house bursting at the seams. Then comes the baby bath, the change table, the high chair, the baby bouncer and the toys (oh my goodness the toys) and it’s no wonder parents have a hard time keeping chaos at bay. A lot of this stuff is really useful, so it makes sense you’d want  to have it ..read more

There comes a time in every mum’s life when cleaning a pram probably becomes a necessity. Trust me – I hold out as long as I can. I looked into pram cleaning services for a while but I found that I either wasn’t organised enough or they were booked out (apparently a lucrative business to get into!) So I rolled up my sleeves this weekend and got into it myself: Fabric parts  Remove all the fabric parts from your Bugaboo Cameleon. To do that you have to unhook the strap that you can find by the footrests and unclip it in the back. You have to take out the board that forms the seat. To do ..read more
