Your clutter is fogging your mind.
As someone who has moved 8 times, I feel like a certified pro at letting go of sentimental items … EVEN when you’re coming with every reason not to.
You probably don’t realise how much all of that clutter is fogging your mind and increasing your stress levels. I absolutely love the feeling of conquering a chaotic, cluttered space so it becomes a functional organised area. Life runs more smoothly, and I feel lighter and clearer.
When it comes to organisation, try not to think of the overall home. The big picture is not what we want to look at here ..read more

The end of the financial year is here, so it’s time to get our financial ducks in a row for tax time and the new FY23–24. It’s not only businesswomen who need to keep on top of this stuff; in our current cost-of-living crisis, it’s crucial that every woman takes her finances seriously and does everything she can to be in the best financial shape possible for the next 12 months.
Here are my top EOFY tips (and please bear in mind, these are general only and do not constitute professional financial and legal advice):

This is the last part of my four-part holiday series, thank you for joining us on this wild ride!
I’m going to finish up by talking about all the things I learned on this adventure: my top tips, lessons and takeaways.
(If you need to catch up on previous installments, head here: Part 1; Part 2; Part 3.)
1. Since becoming a mum, I’ve found myself thinking of all the negative what-ifs when it comes to travel (doesn’t help that I listen to true crime podcasts and watch docos on missing planes!). But now we’ve done it, I’ve realised I can travel with kids and we are safe. It’s been super l ..read more

We figured, since we’d already travelled to the other side of the world, we may as well sneak in another place we’d always wanted to go. For us, that was Santorini.
(If you haven’t read them yet, catch up on Part 1 and Part 2 of our adventure.)
Starting points:
Santorini, Greece, is an island in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200km southeast from the Greek mainland. It is the largest island of a small circular archipelago.
We stayed at the Aqua Luxury Suites in Imerovigli and they were incredible.
Santorini is a 19-hour flight from Sydney.

(If you haven’t read Part 1 of our adventure, head here first.)

Reading is such a comfort for me. I love fiction for its ability to transport me and take me out of my own mind (romance and thriller are my go-to genres, see my recommendations here), but for inspiration and personal growth, I can’t go past a good self-development book.
These are my top five five-star reads that challenged, inspired, motivated and helped me to create the life I wanted for myself and my family. I hope you can find encouragement for your own goals in these pages too!

Kids, bless their little messy hands, can really disrupt our daily routines. Especially when it comes to workouts and meal planning. There are additional tastes and needs to factor in, and we might not have the time, freedom or budget that we used to, so options become more limited. And, of course, we want to lead by example to give them a head start when it comes to managing their own health later in life too. So, let’s look at ways we can incorporate the kids into our healthy lifestyles!
Make it regular and non-negotiable: Kids thrive on routines, so establish a regular time ..read more
