The biggest scalp of the #MeToo movement, the man who arguably started it all, Harvey Weinstein, has had one of his convictions overturned. The New York Court of Appeals has overturned the 2020 conviction on felony sex crime charges in a 4-3 ruling. The report in The Associated Press says that the court found that the judge in Weinstein’s original trial had shown prejudice and improper rulings. I’m going to say this, Clue is a very underrated comedy. You have a great cast, great comedy, and several endings, all in one movie. I saw it again recently and it is still a lot of fun. The long-long-long gestating film adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian may be about to make some progress. According to a report in Deadline, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, and the previously rumored Jodie Comer are all now locked for 28 Years Later.
