  LEONARDTOWN, MD (December 6, 2023) – Tuesday, December 5, 2023, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 36000 block of Woodbush Drive in Chaptico, MD, for the report of a burglary in progress at an unoccupied residence. On Saturday, December 2, 2023, at approximately 10:10 a.m., the two persons shown in these photos entered the Ulta Beauty store in California, MD. The two gathered multiple items and approached the register, giving the appearance of planning to pay for the items. However, after experiencing difficulties with their Google Pay, they gathered everything and left the store in the vehicle shown.
