  LEONARDTOWN, MD (December 6, 2023) – Tuesday, December 5, 2023, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 36000 block of Woodbush Drive in Chaptico, MD, for the report of a burglary in progress at an unoccupied residence. The two gathered multiple items and approached the register, giving the appearance of planning to pay for the items. LEONARDTOWN, MD (December 5, 2023) – The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Alcohol Enforcement Unit recently conducted a series of alcohol compliance checks at 16 St. Mary's County businesses.   On Sunday, October 15, 2023, at approximately 11:30 am, the subject pictured above, arrived at Big Lots in Lexington Park in the pictured maroon Lincoln with temporary tags. The subject in the photos entered the store while two other associates remained with the vehicle, preparing it to be filled with merchandise.   On Saturday, November 18, 2023, at approximately 5:30 am, the subject pictured above entered a residence in the Wildewood community and stole multiple items. The suspect is seen here using one of the stolen credit cards. The suspect is described as a white male with a “top-knot,” with the hair shaved on the sides.
