USABA Names 2024 USA Blind Soccer Men’s National Team

The U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) has announced nine athletes selected for the 2024 USA Blind Soccer Men’s National Team. The team was chosen following a February selection camp held in Chula Vista, Calif. The roster features seven athletes with visual impairments along with two sighted goalkeepers. The sport of blind soccer has been part of the Paralympic Games since 2004, but the U.S. has never fielded a team. The U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) today announced the 15 members of the 2024 USA Goalball Men’s and Women’s National Teams. Boys Goalball Development Camp Signals Bright Future for the Sport

A Toyota Development Grant allowed the U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) to host a recent youth development camp in the sport of goalball. The U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) conducted a USA Blind Soccer training camp, Feb. 1-6, in Chula Vista, Calif.
