I keep hearing stories from around the developed world about food poverty and how people are going hungry. In order to keep to the posting guidelines I'll confine this to Europe. Most of Europe has relatively high levels of welfare. Most of the images I see and people I see being interviewed are overweight. Some are morbidly obese.
