We've already accepted that we're shite. The difference between Moyes and Dyche is that Moyes is a pragmatist, Dyche is a dinosaur. If nothing else, under Moyes, it always felt like there was a Plan B. Right now, I'm struggling to even see Dyche's Plan A. The football that we're witnessing right now is not even turgid. It's far, far worse than that. It's fucking painful. I'm not for one second suggesting that bringing Moyes back would suddenly turn us into a super entertaining side, challenging the top six. What I am saying though, is that we know exactly what we would be getting, a pragmat ..read more

Some good arguments on both sides in here, it's an enjoyable debate. Regarding the team, I don't think we look like a group that are fighting together, with a great spirit, like Luton and Forrest. This worries me more than anything. If they're more up for the fight than we are then we're gone. Major tactical fucks ups aside, like the 6-0, it's the desire to pull some results out the bag that gives survival a chance, at this stage of a season, especially if you're head to head with the teams around you. Man City fans are poor these days tbf. It's just too easy most of the time and Pep's football is brilliant but it's not a type of football that constantly has you on the edge of your seat. Obviously he's going nowhere but the end of this season would have been a 'good' time for him to leave imo, especially if he wins the league for the 4th year running. Isn't it just the case that a lot of City fans have an ambiguous relationship with the CL, whereas Madrid fans define themselves almost completely in relation to the CL? Statistics: Posted by Bluedylan1 — Fri Apr 19, 2024 4:48 pm ..read more
