I can’t remember if the character (that was trying to sleep) was a dog a bear, or a human, I think he may have been human but I’m not sure. This cartoon...

There is no classic "Scooby-Doo", "The Flintstones", "Jonny Quest", nor any classic Hanna-Barbera material. However, there is one classic aired, and that is "The Raccoons" (aired 1985-1991) - it makes sense, since...

Al Jaffee, one of the staff members of Mad Magazine, has died at age 102.
He was best known for Snappy Answers To Stupid Questions, one of the magazine's regular features. These were featured in several Mad paperbacks at well. An example: A female employee asks her boss if she's late, and he replies, "No, every 9 to 5 job starts at 10!"
RIP, Mr. Jaffee ..read more

Hi, I'm sure I've seen a cartoon character doing something like this in a very early black and white cartoon.
I thought it might be Felix The Cat. I've searched all kinds of early cartoons and later ones, and failed to find it.
I did find something a bit similar in an early Betty Boop "By the Light of the Silvery Moon" (1931), but I'd really like to find the one I was thinking of.
Thanks for any help ..read more
