yes i will have to use the bat method, but... the data in excel are dates. used "text" to convert them to text so i would not just have numbers. great i now have folders as dates like 22-mar-07. but windows does not sort them well! they are not in order! what do i do? thanks ..read more

Hello All Just putting a sheet together for the the last 16 stages of the upcoming Euro football championship. Each trys to predict the total goals in 15 games. If they get it correct they score 1 point. So in game 1 on my sheet E5=E36 so AJ5 scores point and the formula i have has done that...How do i extend that formula to cover the other 14 games and every time cells match AJ5 points add up. This can be achieved via file ~ options ~ advanced options ~ (then after much scrolling down) ~ untick show a zero in cells that have zero value. Is it possible to set this zero suppress as a default option, whenever I open a new spreadsheet? Hi I have a vba line something like below, which reads English words No problem Worksheets("Sheet3").Range("D4").Speak < Speaks whatever word is in cell D4 in English Is it possible to enter foreign words in cell D4 ( in my case Armenian ) and have it pronounce it in the native language ?
