Hi all. I am 27 years old. I have been a drummer for 18 years and gigging live for 14 years. My genres are primarily Jazz and Rock. Anyway I just bought a Roland TD-27 mainly to resolve noise issues, and I love the kit and all its features. The problem is I have an allergy to certain materials such as nylon and others which gives me hives and rashes. This is a similar material that the drum heads are made of on the TD-27 and it makes it hard to play. Hello, I have a Medeli DD 518DX kit, i bought it used on facebook marketplace about 2 years ago and it has been working pretty good since then considering its a budget kit. I want to have the snare from kit #12 in kit #14 (I have copied kit 14 to a custom kit). I changed kit 14 snare to the same drum as 12. I copied the pad settings, tuning, muffling, ambience, multi fx, pad eq, volume from kit 12. But the snare still doesn't sound the same as it does in kit 12. I am pretty sure I have accurately copied all settings. Is there something else I need to copy? Any other ways to try to get a single pad from one kit into another on the td-17 ..read more

i decided to try to 3d print a drum, I have printed the 2 parts, base and top, i bought a mesh cover and a 10pk of piezo's I dont think i care to have it dual zone, but i set it up anyway, My main issue right now is getting the triggers set to a good level. Im running it through an Alesis nitro and also a laptop for melodics training, i want to be able to so that the mesh doesnt trigger the rim, so far i think i have that done correctly.
