Founder of JoJé, Jess Cerra, shared the message on her Instagram account on March 26, 2024, announcing the difficult decision after 14 years of leading the brand. Sea Otter is just around the corner and we were curious to see what Lifetime had in mind for the 2024 version of its gravel race. The 2024 Sea Otter Gravel Race will take place on Saturday April 20, 2024, and feature a new gravel route around the beautiful Fort Ord National Monument in Salinas, CA. The organizers moved the event from Friday to Saturday this year, and seemed to have dropped the name “La Gravilla”, the name it gave the race in 2023. The 2nd annual Poway Party Ride took place on February 17, 2024. Around 60 riders joined us as we revisited one of our favorite San Diego gravel routes that took us from Rancho Penasquitos to parts further east through the hills, streams, and tunnels of Poway, CA. The course was designed by Jeff Paulson, who first had the concept last year for his birthday ride, thus the name Paulson’s Poway Party Ride or PPR for short.
