Hey everyone, I am a soon-to-be MS1 and having a tough time deciding where to go. I have worked in the OR for over a decade and know that I want to pursue plastics. I have been accepted to OU, and it is where I felt the most at home when touring the campus, however they do not have an integrated plastics program. They do have an independent program though. I was thinking about possible ways to thin the skin of the nasal tip in preparation for or after a rhinoplasty. Why don't we investigate the administration of triamcinolone to bulbous regions of thick nasal tip skin using tattoo equipment? It seems this might work because it would reach the dermis only. Despite some googling, I've yet to find reliable stats on craniosynostosis volume by center/fellowship. I'm interested in pursuing a fellowship with high volume of craniosynostosis in particular. As I understand, the volume of craniosynostosis seen in the United States is declining secondary to improved prenatal care, etc as well a cases being dispered more widely across the glut of craniofacial surgeons in the States.
