Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam said at the Owners Meeting on Monday that they’re close to extending the contracts of HC Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry, per Mary Kay Cabot.  Reports had said that extensions were likely coming for both Stefanski and Berry this offseason, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.  Cleveland has had Stefanski and Berry tied together contractually, but their current deals are set to expire after the 2024 season. The Browns announced on Monday that they are re-signing veteran S Rodney McLeod to a new contract. There were previous rumors that the team was looking to re-sign McLeod so the announcement comes as no surprise.  McLeod, 33, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia back in 2012. After four years with the Rams, McLeod departed in free agency and signed a five-year, $37 million contract that included $17 million guaranteed with the Eagles in 2016. Mary Kay Cabot reports that the Browns are re-signing K Cade York to an undisclosed contract after waiving him following the 2022 season. York, 23, was twice named second-team All-SEC to go with a first-team All-SEC selection and second-team All-American selection in 2020. The Browns selected him in the fourth round of the 2022 draft out of LSU. However, the Browns waived him going into his second season and he caught on with the Titans’ practice squad. According to Rob Maaddi, the Browns and Jets are scheduled to host Welsh rugby player Louis Rees-Zammit for visits.  Rees-Zammit participated in the University of Central Florida’s Pro Day and clocked a 4.44 on his 40-yard dash.
